Introducing the ObjectID Digital Twin Partner Program

A new commercial channel for system integrators, industrial technology providers and digital transformation specialists
Industrial Digital Twin projects rarely succeed through software alone.
They require people who understand the physical asset, the automation environment, the customer's operational constraints and the systems that must be connected around them. They require engineering, installation, integration, cybersecurity, data governance, training and long-term support.
That is why we are launching the ObjectID Digital Twin Partner Program.
The program is designed for system integrators, industrial solution providers, automation specialists, engineering companies and technology consultancies that want to include ObjectID Digital Twin subscriptions within a broader customer solution.
Partners can purchase an ObjectID subscription for a customer, receive an authorized commercial discount and invoice that customer independently for the complete value they provide.
The result is a straightforward model:
- ObjectID supplies the trusted Digital Twin infrastructure and subscription.
- The Partner designs, integrates and supports the customer solution.
- The customer retains ownership and control of its Digital Twins and data.
Built for real industrial delivery
A Digital Twin deployment can include much more than a web interface.
A Partner may combine ObjectID with:
- industrial controllers, gateways and sensors;
- PLC, SCADA, MES and ERP integration;
- MQTT infrastructure;
- a private ObjectID Integration Server;
- customer-controlled S3-compatible storage;
- data modelling and metadata preparation;
- commissioning and field installation;
- cybersecurity hardening;
- monitoring, maintenance and support;
- training and change management.
ObjectID does not dictate how the Partner packages or prices these services. The Partner purchases the ObjectID subscription under its authorized commercial conditions and remains responsible for its own offer and invoice to the end customer.
This gives the Partner room to build genuine value around the platform instead of merely referring a customer to a separate software purchase.
One transaction, two clearly separated roles
The Partner model deliberately separates the payer from the beneficiary.
The Partner is the payer. Stripe charges the Partner for the recurring subscription, and the Partner controls its commercial renewal.
The customer is the beneficiary. The subscription is provisioned for the customer's DID, and that customer remains the on-chain controller of the subscription and the owner of its Digital Twins.
Paying for the service does not make the Partner owner, creator, steward or integration controller of the customer's assets.
It also does not automatically grant access to:
- customer recovery material;
- tenant API keys or MQTT passwords;
- private Twin metadata or private geolocation;
- realtime telemetry or retained operational data;
- command execution;
- customer Integration Server configuration.
If a Partner is also acting as the customer's system integrator, technical access must be granted separately by the customer, with an explicit and revocable scope.
This separation is fundamental. A commercial relationship should never silently become a technical privilege.
How Partner onboarding works
The onboarding process is integrated directly into the ObjectID Digital Twin Webview.
1. The company opens dt.objectid.io and selects REGISTER → PARTNER.
2. It creates the DID that will identify the Partner and downloads the encrypted recovery file.
3. It completes the company application in the dedicated Partner workspace.
4. ObjectID reviews the application and defines the Partner level, commercial discount, territory and authorization validity.
5. When approved, the platform automatically creates or reuses a dedicated Stripe Customer and provisions a restricted Promotion Code for that Partner.
6. The Partner workspace becomes operational when the application status is ACTIVE.
The same DID can also open the Customer workspace. This is useful when a Partner wants to operate Digital Twins belonging to its own organization without creating a second identity.
How a Partner purchases for a customer
Once approved, the Partner can acquire a subscription in a few controlled steps:
1. The customer creates its own ObjectID mainnet DID and gives the Partner only the public DID value.
2. The Partner signs in through DID LOGIN → PARTNER.
3. It enters the customer's beneficiary DID.
4. It selects the required Base, Advanced or Pro plan.
5. The workspace displays the public list price, authorized discount and final Partner price.
6. Stripe Checkout charges the Partner using its own billing and payment details.
7. A signature-verified Stripe webhook instructs the ObjectID Webview supervisor to create or renew the on-chain subscription for the customer DID.
8. The customer signs in through DID LOGIN → CUSTOMER and can immediately see the active plan in its profile.
The customer can then generate its tenant configuration, create Digital Twins and connect devices through the Integration Server.
The discount is applied automatically. It is not a public coupon that can be copied, guessed or transferred. The Promotion Code is restricted to the approved Partner's Stripe Customer, and the backend applies it only after verifying the authenticated Partner DID and current authorization.
Subscription lifecycle without customer lock-in
The Partner workspace provides a commercial overview of the subscriptions purchased for customer DIDs, including plan, payment status, renewal state and paid-through date.
The Partner can stop renewal, but the customer remains entitled to use the service until the end of the paid period.
The customer is not technically locked to the original Partner. At the end of a commercial period, it can move to direct billing or work with another approved Partner without transferring its DID or recreating its Digital Twins.
This preserves continuity for the customer while allowing Partners to build sustainable recurring relationships based on service quality and delivered value.
Trust is enforced, not assumed
The Partner Program uses the same separation of responsibilities that defines the wider ObjectID Digital Twin architecture.
- Stripe handles the Partner's commercial payment flow.
- The Webview backend verifies signed Stripe lifecycle events.
- The ObjectID service supervisor controls subscription provisioning.
- The customer DID remains the on-chain beneficiary.
- DTIS remains a generic integration component and never receives billing authority.
- Operational telemetry can remain on customer-controlled infrastructure and storage.
- Blockchain IOTA (http://iota.org) is used for identity, authority, lifecycle and integrity evidence—not for indiscriminate storage of industrial data.
A successful browser redirect is never treated as proof of payment. Only a verified Stripe event can create or renew a paid subscription, and duplicate webhook events are processed idempotently.
Who should apply?
The program is intended for organizations that can bring meaningful industrial or technical capability to customers, including:
- industrial automation system integrators;
- machine builders and OEM technology providers;
- IoT and edge-computing specialists;
- digital manufacturing consultancies;
- data, cloud and cybersecurity integrators;
- engineering and maintenance service providers;
- companies delivering managed industrial infrastructure.
We are especially interested in Partners that can help customers connect trusted Digital Twin identity with real operational systems, private MQTT infrastructure and customer-controlled data environments.
Build. Integrate. Grow.
The ObjectID Digital Twin Partner Program creates a practical route for qualified industrial specialists to deliver ObjectID as part of their own solution.
Partners gain a dedicated workspace, controlled commercial conditions and a secure mechanism for purchasing subscriptions for customer DIDs.
Customers gain a solution delivered by a trusted specialist without giving up control of their identity, assets or operational data.
And ObjectID gains a network of organizations capable of turning verifiable Digital Twin infrastructure into real industrial outcomes.
